In the midst of a surging border crisis created by the Biden administration, Vice President Kamala Harris handed out cookies of her faceless head to reporters while on a plane traveling to meet with the president of Guatemala on Sunday.

The cookies garnered major backlash online after USA Today reporter Courtney Subramanian posted a photo of Kamala’s faceless cookies to her Twitter account.
GOP chairman Ronna McDaniel likened the cookies to the "modern-day equivalent" of French Queen Marie Antoinette. "Handing out cookies with her face on them as the border crisis rages…," McDaniel wrote. "The modern-day equivalent of 'let them eat cake.'"

The backlash comes as Vice President Kamala Harris refuses to travel to the southern border to address the ongoing crisis, a task she was assigned to handle by President Joe Biden.
Former military aide to the Clinton administration, Buzz Patterson, lambasted the VP for wasting taxpayer money on the "narcissistic" cookies.
As a former Military Aide during the Clinton administration, I never even imagined this level of narcissism. And, all on YOUR tax dollars America!

Democrats, even you can’t be cool with this.@KamalaHarris https://t.co/OXxVQHPxBh

"Democrats, even you can’t be cool with this," he added.
Representative Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) called out Harris for passing out the cookies instead of addressing the borders current conditions, specifically the cartels illegal drug smuggling business. "VP is passing out cookies to the press with her face on them while the cartel makes hundreds of millions of dollars smuggling drugs and children across the southern border," Reschenthaler wrote. "This is all possible thanks to the Biden/Harris Administration’s policies."

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh, who recently raised thousands of dollars for socialist congresswoman AOC’s grandma, called the cookies "extremely disturbing."
“Here you go, everyone. I thought you might like to eat my face.”

What a weirdo. Extremely disturbing behavior. https://t.co/t1QzpAmqlC
During the visit with Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei, Vice President Harris was greeted with loud boo’s while protesters held large signs that read "Trump won."

President Giammattei slammed VP Harris and blamed the current crisis at the US southern border on the Biden administration's open border messaging for the surge.
"The message changed too: 'We're going to reunite families, we’re going to reunite children,'" he told CBS News. "The very next day, the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States."
