An Asian man in Portland, Oregon was harassed by anti-racist Antifa protestors, having been mistaken for journalist and The Post Millennial editor at large Andy Ngo.
Video captured of the event by freelance journalist Sergio Olmos shows the man, who is wearing a mask covering most of his face, frustratingly explaining that he's "super proud" that he's not Andy.
"Do you think that I'm Andy Ngo? Is that what you're thinking? You racist c*nts? You want to see my face? This is the second time that's happened to me, third time that's happened to me at protests," the man can be heard saying to the protestors who had just flipped him off.
A tweet from the antagonizer, identified as Jacob Hanning, says that he jumped to conclusions "in order to try to protect people currently receiving death threats."
In the video, the protestors accuse him of intentionally antagonizing the crowd, saying that he "knows exactly what he's doing," before the man eventually walks away.
In a comment to The Post Millennial, Ngo said that "this isn’t the first or even the second time these so-called 'anti-racist' activists have accused a random Asian person of being me. I fear one day their blind hatred will drive them to assault another innocent person."
Portland has been one of many settings for violent far-left violence across major cities in the United States. Recently, seven Antifa militants were arrested by authorities and are now facing federal charges for participating in a violent riot outside of a US courthouse.
All seven Antifa militants appeared in federal court and have been released pending their trials.
