A CNN reporter preparing for a live report was forced to run to a nearby shelter after warning sirens sounded during a rocket attack on Israel.
CNN reporter Hadas Gold was preparing to go live from Ashkelon, Israel when the crew was forced to flee to a local bomb shelter after air raid sirens sounded indicating a rocket attack. Israel has been under constant attacks for the past week stemming from tensions around landownership in East Jerusalem.
Dozens have been injured so far in the attacks on Israel by Palestinian militia, as they continue to fire rockets indiscriminately into the Jewish state. Video surfaced over the weekend showing the effectiveness of Israel's "Iron Dome" rocket defence system that can be seen shooting rockets out of the air.
So far, the rocket attacks have resulted in at least 2 deaths. Outrage also ensued over 9 children who were killed in Palestine apparently from Israeli counter-terrorism strikes against Hamas militant targets. There is no clear end in sight for the new round of rocket attacks as the eyes of the world are once again on the conflict.
