During a Philadelphia rally that featured members from Planned Parenthood, the Lt. Governor showed off a pink "Fetterwoman" shirt and told the crowd, "My name is John Fetterwoman."
Fetterman criticized Republican Senate candidate, Dr. Mehmet Oz, for calling abortion "murder," though Oz supports exemptions for rape, incest, and in cases where the mother's life is at risk.
"Women are the reason we can win," Fetterman remarked. "Don't piss women off."
Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson called Oz a "charlatan" who "would be a rubber stamp for Mitch McConnell."
Some questions were raised about Fetterman's health after he suffered a stroke days before the primary election and he went absent for months. Video shows the former Pennsylvania mayor slurring his words during his speech. Fetterman's cardiologist said that so long as he takes his medication and eats healthy, that he'll "be fine" on the campaign trail and in Congress.
