WATCH: Donald Trump Jr. pays tribute to the late Rush Limbaugh

Donald Trump Jr. shared his thoughts via Rumble on the loss of conservative icon Rush Limbaugh who passed away from his year-long battle with lung cancer.

Limbaugh is "an incredible American" who has "reshaped the conservative movement over the last few decades," Trump said in the three-minute video uploaded Wednesday to the alternative video-sharing platform.

The former president's eldest son recounted the respect that Limbaugh had garnered throughout his career from colleagues in various political circles who even deified him.

Limbaugh was "someone who took on the establishment," faced the radical left, and "pushed back against cancel culture," Trump said, noting that he "never bowed down" and never "gave up or gave in or succumbed to [the left's] nonsense."

Trump praised the legendary broadcaster's relentless efforts as an idol who flung the stones thrown at conservatives right back at the vexatious leftists.

During his more than 30 years on-air, Limbaugh foretold the rise of Trumpism and flouted political correctness, making him one of the most undeniable powerful voices in politics. The radio talk show host, who died at 70-years-old of Stage 4 lung cancer, continued to rip into liberals despite his terminal illness.

"Over this year with that diagnosis, he never lost his spirit, was never broken by the disease, but lived an incredible life with it—told his story," Trump stated.

He applauded Limbaugh's ability to communicate news to his audience. "You felt like you really knew him," Trump commended. "He opened up his heart, his mind, and your eyes to everything that's going on in the world."

"Perhaps everything I do isn't all that manicured, isn't scripted, isn't put together. it's sort of me in the moment and I think Rush was the probably the first guy to actually do that," Trump continued, admiring how he spoke in this fashion for three hours every day.

A vocal Trump supporter, Limbaugh was awarded the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, at the State of the Union speech last year delivered by the Republican leader. "[Limbaugh] understood it. He was all for it," Trump spoke of his father's legacy and presidential campaign. "He helped create some of that and the enthusiasm for Donald Trump."

"You could see how much that meant to him as an American, as a patriot, as someone who just loves this country. So rest in peace, Rush. Thank you for all you've done for us, for our movement, for America," Trump signed off.

When the news broke of Limbaugh's death announced by his wife at the beginning of Wednesday's regular radio broadcast, Trump called him "a true American legend" on Twitter, amassing over 150,000 likes at the time of publication.

In his press statement given to the Daily Caller, Trump reiterated his sentiments and described Limbaugh as "an irreplaceable voice who will be dearly missed" and "bonafide radio pioneer."

Limbaugh's passing prompted homages from various right-wing political figures. Still, smug Twitter bluechecks celebrated the tragedy and circulated "Rest in Piss" on the social media platform. Mainstream media outlets such as The Huffington Post argued that Limbaugh was the "bigoted king of talk radio," claiming he was responsible for "cruel bigotries, lies and conspiracy theories."
