Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper appeared on CNN Thursday morning and was asked about the recent revelations that he was one of the Obama-era officials who unmasked General Michael Flynn in 2017.
Flynn is asked by CNN's John Berman if he thinks leaking classified information is a problem. He responds, "Absolutely, yes it is."
"And if anyone did leak the contents of these conversations, with or without a name, that would be a problem, yes?" Berman asked, implying that Clapper may have, in fact, been the leaker of Flynn's name to the media.
At this point, Clapper vanishes from the screen and Berman is forced to pivot to another guest.
James Clapper is FINALLY asked a tough question by CNN.
