Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, shared a kiss on the tarmac on Tuesday, with their face masks on.
The clip shows Harris taking Emhoff's face in her hands as they lean into one another and share a kiss through many layers of fabric. Harris then turns and walks up the stairs into the waiting plane.
Both Harris and Emhoff have been fully vaccinated, and CDC guidance says that fully vaccinated people can gather together, outside, unmasked. It is doubtful that any of those present at the Vice Presidential send-off were unvaccinated, yet the two kept their face masks in place.
Perhaps Harris and Emhoff were sending a message to the American people that we should all stay masked, no matter what, despite CDC guidance and logic. The CDC
