A video posted to Twitter showing drone footage of hundreds of illegals crossing into the United States from Mexico has garnered attention from many across social media.

Among those who reacted to the video was GOP NY Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, calling the event "An absolute catastrophe from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and House & Senate Democrats."

She shared a tweet from Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin, who said the footage showed the "largest group of migrants we’ve ever seen being held by Border Patrol under Anzalduas Bridge in Mission, TX."

"Looks like it could be up to 1,000 people," Melugin posted. "We can only get a look at the area with our drone. There’s a popular Rio Grande crossing area nearby."

Republicans have been critical of the Biden Administration handling of the border crisis, which has allowed thousands of potentially COVID-positive illegals into America.

The situation has gotten so bad that Texas G0vernor Greg Abbott announced last week that his state's national guard would be deployed to help troopers make arrests.
