Ontario Provincial Police say a 76-year-old Mississauga man allegedly driving the wrong way down Highway 401 on Wednesday.

Ontario Provincial Police say a 76-year-old Mississauga man allegedly driving the wrong way down Highway 401 on Wednesday.

Police say the man was speeding 50 km/h over the speed limit, travelling westbound in the eastbound lane on the Highway 37 exit near Belleville, ON.

Video shows the moment that police caught up with the speeding vehicle. The 76-year-old has been charged with stunt driving and careless driving.

The man's license was also suspended, and his vehicle impounded for one week.
