The Post Millennial's correspondent Ari Hoffman appeared on Fox & Friends First today to discuss the rampant riots in Seattle while the city's law-abiding civilians face the fallout.

Fox News host Carley Shimkus prefaced the segment by recounting President Donald Trump's return yesterday to the 2020 re-election campaign trail with a massive rally in North Carolina. The president warned the American people that a vote for his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, is a vote for the unlawfulness—unchecked and unfurling—across major US cities, such as Seattle where Hoffman resides and even ran for city council.

As violent imagery overlayed, Hoffman explained that the public is tired of the relentless riots ravaging their hometowns.

Over 300 Antifa militants, armed with Molotov cocktails, rocks, and glass bottles, squared off with local law enforcement outside of the Seattle Police Guild on Sunday, leading to 22 arrests.

While Seattle tolerates mass protest, the city shut down Gasworks Park for 34 hours to prevent churchgoers from worshipping at the meeting place due to social distancing restrictions. Hoffman acknowledged how the massive park is the site of one of the largest Fourth of July festivities where thousands congregate. Celebrations also carried on in numerous other recreational parks across Labor Day weekend.

"The Christians prayed on the streets. Meanwhile, the rioters injured police officers," Hoffman cited.

Yet this is the same city that held the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) zone within Cal Anderson Park.

"How are city leaders explaining that hypocrisy?" Shimkus asked Hoffman. "Well they aren't at all," he responded to her question.

In fact, Cal Anderson Park was raided last Tuesday when the Seattle Police Department recovered homemade spike strips, weapons and dozens of makeshift shields inside of tents stockpiled by Antifa activists. Far-left extremists used the homeless as a cover for their storage and berated the SPD's cleanup.

"You don't see the city leaders condemning that kind of behavior when these guys are rioting almost nightly," Hoffman pinpointed.

Shimkus noted how African American police chiefs in Seattle, Rochester, and Dallas have recently resigned amid Black Lives Matter protests demanding to "Defund the Police."

Hoffman emphasized how police officers are aware that local leaders side with social justice narrative before the investigative process even reveals circumstantial evidence.

"[Elected officials] just jump on the bandwagon from a grainy cell phone video and say, 'We know the truth. This person is guilty,'" Hoffman continued. "You have to wait until the investigation is done, because we keep finding out all these awful things about the people who claim to be victims."

Jacob Blake, who was shot in the back seven times by an officer in Kenosha, had an outstanding arrest warrant for violating a restraining order tied to an alleged sexual assault.

"We find out these horrible things and these people are being held up as martyrs," Hoffman stated.

Trump has consistently argued to enforce law and order while Biden finally condemned the widespread violence just last week, Shimkus pivoted.

"Who is winning that messaging war?" the anchor asked to which Hoffman answered: the president.

"People think that polling is the only reason Joe Biden came out of his basement," Hoffman went on. When Trump visited Kenosha to tour the afflicted area and speak with his constituents, Biden among other Democrats minimized the damage done without examining the egregious effects that civil unrest imposed on family businesses and residential neighborhoods.

Biden's vice presidential pick Sen. Kamala Harris even called Blake's family "incredible" after visiting on Monday despite backlash from the Jewish communities against Jacob Blake Sr. for spreading anti-Semitic content on social media.

"These are the people that they're holding up, and meanwhile they're condemning police officers," Hoffman voiced.
