Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) took the main stage at CPAC on Sunday to discuss the Constitutional amendments nine and ten. He walked out to a crowd of cheering supporters, and asked who cancel culture was going to take down next.
"This is scary where the left wants to take us and we have to fight back every time we see it," he said. He said that Trump "is the leader of the conservative movement, the leader of the America first movement, and the leader of the Republican party." The crowd erupted into cheers of USA.
Jordan decried the cancel culture that has seen congressman trying to get broadcasters they disagree with deplatformed. He said that it's sick what is being done to the Constitution, and listed off celebrities in sports, entertainment and media who
"You know why they really come after us?" He asked. "They don't like that we tell the truth, they don't like that we point out the double standard."
Jordan said that Democrats objected to the electors from 10 states on Jan. 6 2017, but that when Republicans objected this year, they were called treasonous for it. Jordan was one of those who objected to the certification of the electoral college votes on Jan. 6, 2020.
Jordan said that the Democrats have been, and still are obsessed with Trump, but that "no president in my lifetime has done more of what they said they would do than," Trump did.
"Trump didn't make excuses," he said, because he knew that "it's we the people that make this country special." It's because Trump was "going to fight for us" that the "left wants to cancel him."
Jordan said that he hopes that Trump runs for president again in 2024, and asked the audience to fight for what they believe in, to hold off the leftist assault on our civil liberties.
