Conservative Shadow Minister of Health Michelle Rempel Garner pressed Liberal Health Minister Patty Hajdu on whether what restrictions Canadians needed to follow if they were half or fully vaccinated.
The question came after the American CDC announced that those who were fully vaccinated did not need to wear masks.
Garner pointed out that Trudeau recently committed to a "one-dose summer," for a "two-dose fall," a pivot from his prior point that all Canadians wanting a vaccine would receive one by the end of summer, saying: "the federal government has not issued clear advise for half vaccinated Canadians for their level of protection, their risk of transmission, and what restrictions do or do not apply to them."
Hajdu did not respond directly to the question, saying: "Vaccines save lives and stop the spread of disease. Canadians know that we need to get to the finish line together. Canadians have made extraordinary sacrifices for each other, and now they're stepping up to the plate."
