White House physician Sean Conley said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump has shown no signs of COVID-19 since being released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Conley wrote: "This morning the President's team of physicians met with him in the Residence. He had a restful first night at home, and today he reports no symptoms. Vital signs and physical exam remain stable, with an ambulatory oxygen saturation level of 95-97%."
"Overall, he continues to do extremely well," Conley wrote.

This comes as the president and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus on October 2, with Trump being admitted into Walter Reed shortly after developing a fever.

On October 3, Conley stepped outside Walter Reed to say that Trump was "doing great," adding that he and his medical team were "very happy" with the progress Trump was making.
Despite backlash the president received for taking a brief ride outside the hospital to greet and thank his supporters who were standing outside to cheer on a speedy recovery, Trump gave a short talk after he was released from Walter Reed, saying: "Don't let it dominate you."

As a result, a number of television personalities, such as Chris Cuomo, have denigrated the president's effort to play down the coronavirus by offering an encouraging message to Americans across the country.
"Instead of making it better for people, he seems intent on making it worse."

While Trump has attempted to clamp down on the hysteria surrounding the virus, Democrats have played it up, suggesting that people be "afraid of COVID," which is what New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said following Trump's uplifting message after being released from the hospital.
