A Zellers fan account has emerged amidst the worldwide panic caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, and it's making big promises on behalf of the now-defunct chain.
Twitter user @ZellerStore has amassed over 8,000 foll0wers on Twitter, and while the account was created over a decade ago, has gone viral numerous times for their promise of having toilet paper for sale, while other marts see their shelves go barren.
"You know who would still have toilet paper? Zellers," reads the tweet with the hashtags #CoronaVirusCanada and #Covid_19

The movement has gained steam, with some tweets hitting over 7,000 retweets and 30,000 likes.

The fan account also takes jabs at their successor/failure, Target, who took over 133 Zellers chains to open the beloved American chain across Canada.
As most of us know, Target's "successor" was much more of a failure, than anything, folding only two years after the highly-anticipated launch.
Remember that time ya'll thought, "Oh wow, I can't wait for that American red-coloured store to come to Canada"?

"Remember that time y'all thought, 'Oh wow, I can't wait for that American red-coloured store to come to Canada? Yeah..." tweeted the account, a not-so-subtle swipe at the massive failure that was Target Canada.

The account has a knack for humour, somehow managing to fit the words "martial law" and "Toyland" together in one sentence.

Alas, all good things must come to an end, and in this Twitter account's canon, Zellers closed its doors due to the COVID 19 virus, as they expressed in a tweet on Tuesday.
Due to concerns over the spread of #COVID19, all Zellers stores will be closed until further notice.
