Alyssa Milano ditches Me Too movement to boost alleged abuser Raphael Warnock

Alyssa Milano had a principle of believing women, no matter what, until those women spoke against politicians for whom she would rather fundraise.

Alyssa Milano's stint as spokesperson of the Me Too movement has come to a crashing halt in 2020. In 2017, she brought the Me Too movement to the national stage. In 2020, she's backing a senatorial candidate who has been accused of child abuse and domestic violence.

Milano is fundraising for Rev. Raphael Warnock, Democratic contender for one of Georgia's two coveted senate seats. Warnock's opponents have called him a radical leftist for his views and allegiances, but he's been called an abuser, as well. Milano made her post-child-star bones in backing women on accusation alone.

Now Milano is abandoning those principles in hopes of having a voice with the power brokers at the top levels of government.

Warnock has was subject to a domestic violence call in the spring of 2020. His wife told police "I’ve tried to keep the way that he acts under wraps for a long time, and today he crossed the line. So that is what is going on here. And he’s a great actor. He is phenomenal at putting on a really good show." She alleged that he hit her with his car.

A camp headed by Warnock eventually settled out of court with the family of a boy who alleged that he was abused by camp counselors, was doused with urine, and forced to sleep outside.

Milano also took the word of then presidential-candidate Joe Biden's supporters over a woman who accused him of sexual assault.

After Milano went after now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his nomination hearings, with scanty evidence provided as to the allegations of sexual violence against him, it appeared that Milano had a principle of believing all women, no matter what, until those women spoke against politicians for whom she would rather fundraise.

Fellow Me Too advocate actress Rose McGowan noted this hypocrisy as well, and it was painfully obvious. Milano is happy to use allegations as a cudgel against conservative politicians, but Democratic politicians who are alleged to abuse women get a pass from her outspoken activism.

Warnock's run for Senate against incumbent Kelly Loeffler will come to a close on Jan. 5, when one of the two will win a run off election in the Peach State that will greatly impact the balance of power in the United States.

Warnock ally Jon Ossoff is running against Senator David Perdue, and if the two Democrats win, the party of the left will hold power in the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the White House.
