Concert attendees reported that famed musician Carlos Santana just passed out on stage Tuesday night.
According to reports, the 74-year-old guitarist was performing at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI when he collapsed. According to a local Fox reporter, medical personnel were on the stage.
The crowd was reportedly asked to pray for Santana because of a "serious medical" issue.
The 10-time Grammy winner previously canceled shows in December following a procedure for a heart condition.
At the time, Santana posted on social media address his health. "I'm here to crystalize and make it clear. Last Saturday, I had an incident where I asked my wife Cindy to take me to the hospital because I had this thing happening in my chest. So when we went there we found out I needed to take care of it."
Santana added, "I'm going to be taking time off for a little bit to make sure that I replenish and rest, so when I play for you, I play the way I'm used to."
The Tuesday night concert also featured the band Earth, Wind and Fire as part of the Miraculous Supernatural tour. According to ticket websites, the concert had been rescheduled from performances previously postponed from August of 2020 and July of 2021.
This is a developing story.
