On Saturday, TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney released a video for Bud Light as the beer's newest spokesperson and said the company sent the beer to commemorate the trans-identified activist and social media influencer's "365 Days of Girlhood" project.
Fox News reports that after backlash Bud Light's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, said in a statement the company "works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points. From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public."
Mulvaney has released TikTok videos in the "365 Days of Girlhood" project which featured installments such as the sometime-actor frolicking in the woods and referring to women's genitals as "Barbie pockets."

Mulvaney also met with President Biden at the White House and received a letter of congratulations from Vice President Kamala Harris because of the project.
Mulvaney has had partnerships or sponsor deals with women's product lines such as Kate Spade's women's spring line of dresses, handbags, and shoes, Tampax, Maybelline, Ulta, and Kitchen Aid, among others.
