Amidst the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan with thousands attempting to flee while the Taliban takes over the capital city of Kabul, civilian flights from numerous international airlines into the country have been suspended.
"We're gonna leave tens of thousands of people behind ... and the timeline in terms of threats has accelerated," a source on the Sunday call told reporters.
As coalition control of Kabul crumbles, bureaucratic red tape over fingerprinting appointments have left a Canadian Embassy security worker stranded.

The White House appears to have inadvertently revealed the identities and locations of intelligence officials in the Middle East in a Twitter post on Sunday.
The order comes amid efforts to evacuate U.S. citizens from Kabul.

In a new security alert issued Sunday by the United States embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan the same day the Afghanistan president fled the capitol, US citizens in the area are being instructed to shelter in place and avoid both the embassy and airport.
"Border violence is a serious threat to public safety, and to border agents responsible for national security. This incident is another example of the dangers our officers face every day."
An exasperated Jim Jordan did not hold back on his criticism of Joe Biden.
