'Cancel Culture' continues to permeate society and ruin lives. Anything an individual says or does may be found to be verboten by the woke mob. Thus, the risk for cancellation is more significant for those of us who essentially talk for a living. Whether in print, talk radio, or podcasting, public figures are especially prone to human error or voicing ideas that may be politically incorrect.
Danielle Smith is a journalist and former radio host. She is, technically speaking, not cancelled. This is despite the fact that she has faced the cancellation mob multiple times. It would seem that Danielle foresaw her looming cancellation, especially in comparison to her more moderate colleagues getting cancelled.
To this end, she voluntarily exited mainstream media and is moving on to something better. Was it worth it? Find out by watching or listening below!
Danielle Smith
Danielle Smith is a Canadian Journalist and former Politician. Until recently, she was a radio host for Global News but has now voluntarily stepped away from her role. This exit was due to a myriad of factors, including the rise of cancel culture.
She was also the Wildrose Party leader from October 2009 to December 17, 2014, when she resigned to cross the floor and join the governing Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta caucus.
Danielle now serves as the President of the Alberta Enterprise Group and is also active on Locals.com.
