On Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his re-election campaign launched "The DeSantis Playbook" website that listed the highlights of his "Freedom Agenda."

"We are honored to have the support of great Floridians like you who love our country, honor our heritage, respect our flag, and proudly embrace our Freedom Agenda? You understand the value of safe communities, environmental preservation, a strong economy, and an education system that respects your rights and supports your students," the website reads.

The first of the bulleted issues, "Putting Kids First and Protecting Parents’ Rights," highlights DeSantis' work towards protecting children from indoctrination. In March, DeSantis passed his anti-groomer legislation that banned the proliferation of radical gender ideology in schools from kindergarten through the third grade. In December 2021, he passed his "Stop WOKE" act which banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory in schools.

The Daily Wire reported exclusively on the playbook and noted how it "details a lengthy list of the governor’s accomplishments for Floridians, lawmakers, governors, and Americans who might wish to follow in DeSantis’s footsteps."

Many GOP have found success in seizing on DeSantis' footsteps and the governor's popularity has translated to helping other Republican candidates. Starting on August 14 he has been headlining Turning Point Action's 'Unite and Win' rallies across the country to help GOP candidates, many of them Trump-backed, galvanize support into the November midterms.

On August 4, DeSantis suspended George Soros-backed Floridian State Attorney Andrew Warren in another move that garnered praise from the GOP.

In a statement, DeSantis said, "Florida has consistently led the way on issues like keeping businesses open and kids in school, parental rights in education, standing up for law enforcement, and protecting our environment, all while enacting the largest tax relief package in our state’s history."

"For the past three and a half years, Florida has led with a freedom-first agenda, and we’re just getting started," DeSantis continued in his statement. Florida's reputation as a "free state" gained momentum as the state was one of the first to move past the strict Covid measures pushed from the Biden administration. DeSantis was also on the vanguard of criticizing the mask theater, especially in children.

The governor's wife, Casey DeSantis, launched her "Mamas for DeSantis" movement in June and said, "The governor is unwavering in his leadership for freedom-first policies, all of which are detailed in the DeSantis Playbook." She encouraged women to host book clubs and talk about the agenda and said, "I encourage all Floridians to host a Playbook Club to discuss the importance of good policies, strong leadership, and the stakes of the November elections."
