"Joe Biden and his left-wing allies have allowed a deadly surge in hate crimes against Asian Americans," the narrator in the ad reads. "Joe Biden and his liberal allies shave allowed criminals to roam free, putting Asians in grave danger." The "Cried for Help" ad shows footage of numberous attacks against Asian Americans over the past few years, inclusing violent attacks against the eldery, shopkeepers, and women just walking down the street.
According to NBC News, for 2021: "hate crime data, published by the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, revealed that anti-Asian hate crime increased by 339 percent last year compared to the year before, with New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and other cities surpassing their record numbers in 2020."
The Post Millennial's Andy Ngo has spoken at length about the issue, discussing the topic on Frontlines with Drew Hernandez. Ngo's Twitter account has documented a series of anti-Asian hate instances: black trans woman strikes Asian man with hammer, Asian-American reporter in Seattle threatened by Antifa for covering homeless encampments, Oakland robbery of Asian-American couple robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects, the list goes on.
The ad blames the Democrats' "soft on crime and soft on criminals" approach. saying that it's the fault of "Left-wing prosecutors who won't prosecute, [and] liberals freeing predators."
"Why don't Asian lives matter to Joe Biden and his left-wing allies?" the ad concludes concludes.
The ad will air in Seattle, Oregon, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.
