Pfizer released a new ad featuring 81-year-old TV host Martha Stewart encouraging viewers to get the newest booster shot from the pharmaceutical company, with the company recently coming under scrutiny after one of its directors discussed how the drug giant was "mutating" the Covid virus for the development of new vaccines.

"You know that unwelcome guest everyone wishes would just leave already. That's COVID-19," Stewart says in the video, "That's why I got the new updated booster. Designed to help protect against recent Omicron variants. Got it?"

DC Draino wrote, "I can’t believe this is real Pfizer made a commercial with Martha Stewart to advertise its new booster shot. Aren’t Big Pharma commercials legally required to list all the 'may cause myocarditis' side effects at the end and say 'check with your doctor'?!"

On January 13, the CDC announced an investigation into whether the Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine increases the risk of ischemic strokes in people aged 65 or older.

Reports of myocarditis as a side effect of the Covid vaccine emerged almost immediately after the vaccine rollouts and persisted through 2022 and, Pfizer launched clinical trials to track how pervasive the heart problem was in young adults and teens in January.

The video features Stewart, who survived five months of hard time after being convicted of obstruction of justice and making false statements with regard to insider trading in 2004, sharpening a Japanese katana sword and wielding it in a threatening manner at her audience. She then slashes the weapon and lops off the top portion of a pineapple.

Afterward, she reveals her bandaid indicating she got her booster. The phrase "got booster?" in the same font as the "got milk" campaign then serves as a denouement following her parade of violence against the fruit.

Chief Nerd posted the video on Twitter and Elon Musk replied, "Once again, parody & reality are indistinguishable."

"Weird. Stick to Gardening and cooking," one user replied.

"OMG Not the pineapple," Charlie Davis said about the fruit assault.

"I knew felons were not allowed to own firearms, but I was unaware that they could possess katanas?" quipped David Fekke.

On January 25,  Project Veritas released a video exposing a director of research and development at the company who claimed the giant was trying to "mutate" Covid with "Directed Evolution" for the purpose of developing future vaccines.

"She must have plenty of Pfizer stocks," wrote another user.
