Text messages reveal Hunter Biden personally arranging a meeting with his business associates and Joe Biden in May 2017 to discuss a major deal with a Chinese energy company despite past denials from the Democratic presidential nominee.

According to the exchange obtained by Fox News, SinoHawk Holdings former chief executive officer Tony Bobulinski corresponded with Hunter. The CEO described the Jim and Hunter Biden joint venture as a partnership between the CEFC, a Chinese energy and finance conglomerate, and the two Biden family members.

The meeting presumably occurred at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. “Mrng plse let me knw if we will do early dinner w your Uncle & dad and where, also for document translation do you want it simple Chinese or traditional?” Bobulinski texted Hunter on May 2, 2017.

“Not sure on dinner yet and whatever is the most common for a Chinese legal DOC,” Hunter replied. “Chinese legal docs can be both, i’ll make it traditional,” Bobulinski responded. “Dad not in now until 11- let’s me I and Jim meet at 10 at Beverly Hilton where he’s staying," Hunter relayed the logistics.

On the same day, Bobulinski messaged Jim Biden, the former vice president's brother and Hunter's uncle: “Great to meet u and spend some time together, please thank Joe for his time, was great to talk thx Tony b.” The next morning, Hunter's business partner turned-whistleblower followed up, asking Jim "where should we meet this mrng?"

"I don't have credentials to get into Milkin so just want to make sure not an issue to get me in," Bobulinski pressed.

"Let's meet at the same place as last night!" Jim texted back. The two then coordinated the pick-up point. Bobulinski acknowledged the "conference gng on" that might have hindered his ability to enter through the front doors.

"There's a photo of Joe Biden speaking at a conference at the Beverly Hilton on May 3, 2017--right after his China biz meeting. There's also video of the entire event, too, if that would help," The Federalist's co-founder Sean Davis prompted Biden's campaign managers, rapid response director Andrew Bates and communications director Kate Beddingfield, with a picture of Biden at the podium and the website's 8:30 a.m. blocked schedule for "A Conversation with the 47th Vice President of the United States Joe Biden." The 2017 Milken Institute Global Conference even uploaded the full video documenting Biden's attendance.

The chain was acquired after the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee as well as the Senate Finance Committee requested documents related to Bobulinski’s business affairs with the Biden family.

The meeting on May 2 would have taken place just 11 days before the email sent May 13, 2017, which detailed a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six individuals involved in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The letter appeared to identify Biden as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC” in an apparent reference to the now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co.

James Gilliar, another Biden business partner, emailed the team with financial compensation arrangements for those encompassed, including the Democratic ticket. "10 held by H[unter] for the big guy," Gilliar wrote, referring to the percent equity stake for Biden.

In a statement to Fox News, Bobulinski explained: “Hunter Biden called his dad ‘the Big Guy’ or ‘my Chairman,’ and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing.”

"I've seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business," Bobulinski continued. "I've seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn't just Hunter's business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line."

He added: “I realized the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial ROI.  They were looking at this as a political or influence investment.”

“Once I realized that Hunter wanted to use the company as his personal piggy bank by just taking money out of it as soon as it came from the Chinese, I took steps to prevent that from happening,” Bobulinski went on, urging “the Biden family to address the American people and outline the facts so I can go back to being irrelevant—and so I am not put in a position to have to answer those questions for them.”

Bobulinski noted that he doesn’t “have a political ax to grind" and "just saw behind the Biden curtain," emphasizing that he "grew concerned."

“The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities even though some were from communist-controlled China," Bobulinski concluded.

Bobulinski is slated to be President Donald Trump's special guest at Thursday night's final presidential debate, John Roberts of Fox News reported.
