Actor Rainn Wilson, best known for playing Dwight Kurt Schrute on the beloved television series The Office, changed his name to "Rainnfall Heat Wave Rising Sea Levels We Have To Do Something About It Now Wilson."

The actor made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday. After he gave his new 15-word name he said, "Sorry to get so dark, so quick. You see what happens in the Arctic doesn't stay in the Arctic, as the polar caps melt it drives up risks throughout the world, including extreme weather events that affect all of us."

Wilson said, "I'm an Arctic risk name changer, which is going to be a game changer. Our mission at Arctic Basecamp is to raise awareness, the Global Risks of Arctic weather change. It's not just bad news for the Arctic, but for us too, so that's why I changed my name and use it to help tell the world leaders and influencers that we need to act now."

According to NBC News, Wilson is a board member of Arctic Basecamp, a part of the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) that is dedicated to climate activism.

He changed his name via a "website called Arctic Risk Name Generator which encourages visitors to become an 'Arctic name changer.'"

The actor said he changed his name on his social media platforms but as of Friday his Instagram and Twitter still read as "Rainn Wilson."

Wilson also suggested a few other possible celebrity name changes such as "Cardi the Arctic B Melting, Jack Black Carbon is Killing Us," and "Amy Poehler Bears are Endangered."

Wilson said he was changing his name to coincide with COP27, or the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

In a separate statement, he said, "I’m hoping this name change brings attention to this growing… er, melting issue. We need world leaders at COP27 to take notice and take action. The Arctic is melting at millions of litres per second, yet this problem can’t seem to make a name for itself, so it’s up to us to make a name for it."

In the statement, he gave a conflicting name change, "I’ve changed my name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson."

The actor, whose birth name is Rainn Percival Dietrich Wilson, said the name change was not a joke.

Wilson recently appeared in the television show "Star Trek: Discovery" which also featured an appearance by actor and failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.
