The 2020 election cycle is shaping to have new prominent Republican candidates, and the ones in these ads are among them. These ads are for House of Representatives, state senate, and gubernatorial races. Here the five best Republican ads from the 2020 election cycle.

1. Texas Reloaded, Dan Crenshaw

Dan Crenshaw is the incumbent Republican representative for Texas' 2nd congressional district. Crenshaw is a former Navy SEAL.

Crenshaw released "Texas Reloaded" on Sept. 24. "Texas Reloaded" starts off with him receiving a mission to save Texas by recruiting a team of Republican congressional candidates. The mission says these candidates must be courageous, patriotic, and fearless.

This ad is great because it has cool special effects. There is a scene where computer graphics are used to make it look like Crenshaw's fake eye is scanning an app on a cellphone. Other great special effects are used when an explosion ignites behind the candidates.

The ad does not cover any policies. It does encourage people to vote for Republicans to save Texas.

The Cook Political Report rates Crenshaw's race against Democratic candidate Sima Ladjevardian as a likely Republican win.

2. Shake Things Up, Shelley Luther

Shelley Luther is a Republican candidate for Texas State Senate District 30. Luther was the beauty salon owner who defied lockdown measures by opening her business, which led to her almost going to jail.

Luther released "Shake Things Up" on Sept. 4. "Shake Things Up" opens with her talking about how politicians did not punish protestors calling for police to be defunded. She claims it was ironic for politicians to punish her for reopening her salon to help mothers feed their children.

This ad demonstrates Luther's courage. The ad shows she fights back when faced with bullies and she does not back down.

Luther said in the ad that she is pro-Trump and pro-law enforcement. She claimed every job is essential.

She will face off against fellow Republican candidate Drew Springer in a run-off election on Dec. 19. Springer beat her by 0.1 per cent in the primary, so it will be a tight race.

3. We Approve, Spencer Cox

Spencer Cox is the Republican candidate for governor of Utah and current the lieutenant governor of Utah.

Cox posted "We Approve" on Oct. 20. "We Approve" starts off with Cox and Democratic candidate Chris Peterson encouraging people to vote for them. They say while they have differences, there are topics they agree on.

This ad shows despite the political polarization in the US, people can come together. The ad encourages people to debate issues without degrading each other's character. It reminds people that what matters most is not how they treat their allies, but how they interact with their opponents.

While the ad does not cover policies, Cox said on his site that he is in favour of rebuilding Utah's economy, transforming the educational system, and standing by the Second Amendment.

The Cook Political Report rates Cox's race against Peterson a solid Republican win.

4. Dollar Sean Club, Sean Parnell

Sean Parnell is the Republican candidate for Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district. Parnell is a former army ranger and author.

Parnell released "Dollar Sean Club" on June 17. Parnell introduces himself, saying he is running for Congress because he is tired of the House of Representatives being a Trump derangement syndrome support group.

This ad is great because the jokes about Democratic politicians are hilarious. Parnell cuts up the last name of his opponent, incumbent Democratic representative Conor Lamb. He joked that leaving New York's 14th congressional district representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in charge of Pennsylvania's energy jobs is like leaving former US president Bill Clinton in charge of an intern program.

Parnell promised to protect Pennsylvania's energy industry.

The Cook Political Report rates Parnell's race against Lamb as a lean Democratic win. Parnell has name recognition because of his speech at the Republican National Convention.

5. The Plan, Kim Klacik

Kim Klacik is the Republican candidate for Maryland's 7th congressional district. Klacik is a non-profit founder and Republican strategist.

Klacik came out with "The Plan" on Sept. 20. "The Plan" starts off with her walking through the streets of Baltimore wearing a dress and high heels like she did in her first ad. She says unlike the current leaders in Baltimore, she has a plan to make life better for people in the city.

This ad rocks because it exposes how Democratic politicians have failed Baltimore. She shows the ruined homes and dilapidated infrastructure. She demonstrates that voters have another alternative to the Democratic politicians who have ruled this city for the last few decades.

Klacik said in her ad that she will work with city leaders to bring resources to deal with the piles of garbage if she is elected. She promised to support tax credits and incentive programs to give residents a chance to buy and rehabilitate abandoned homes.

The Cook Political Report rates Klacik's race against incumbent Democratic representative Kweisi Mfume as a solid Democratic win, but her candidacy shows people are annoyed with the failed leadership in Baltimore.
