'Trans demiboy' 5th grade teacher uses stuffed animals to make children practice pronouns in LA

"So this little llama is gender-fluid; we will be practicing pronouns with this little llama," Tooley said in a TikTok video.

A Los Angeles, California fifth grade teacher who identifies as a "trans demiboy and nonbinary" posted on social media about how students are being taught about transgenderism and sexuality with the help of "gender fluid" stuffed animals.

Skye Tooley, who previously made headlines in April for saying that three-year-olds should be taught about gender identity and sexual orientation, posts the far-left lesson plans to TikTok.

On TikTok, Tooley shared a lesson in which the concept of the "gender binary" was shared with the 10-to-11-year-olds, and how there are "many more genders out there in the universe" than just boys or girls. Tooley also posted about teaching the kids how to use gender pronouns with a stuffed animal, reported Fox News.

"This is a llama unicorn... I thought it was so cute to let my kids name the llama unicorn. It was a mistake. So this little llama is gender-fluid; we will be practicing pronouns with this little llama," Tooley said.

Another transgender stuffed animal was also introduced into the lesson plan by Tooley.

"I started talking [to students] about Norbert the Narwhal … who uses they/them pronouns, and we practice making mistakes with their pronouns as well as correcting them," the teacher said.

Tooley also shared that the elementary school has a "rainbow club," for LGBTQ+ children.

"The rainbow club is effectively a GSA for elementary... One wonderful thing about the rainbow club is talking about different identities, talking about who we are, and talking about how to support the LGBTQ+ community. Students may not necessarily be out, but they are excited to learn and help others," the educator said.

In another video, Tooley shared a tour of the classroom that included visuals of "pronoun posters," as well as the trans stuffed animals.

According to Tooley's website, the transgender teacher goes by "Mx." instead of "Mr." or "Ms.", and uses "they/them" pronouns when being addressed by fifth-graders at Saturn Street Elementary, which is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

The website, "Growing With Mx. T," describes how Tooley works to "recreate elementary curriculum with a social justice focus and have worked to actively engage their learners in lessons around identity, diversity, equity, action, and justice."

In March, Tooley first went viral for controversial TikTok videos involving similar content.

"Kids as young as three and four are actually aware of their gender identity, even if they don't have the language for it. Also, very aware of who they like and who they don't like," Tooley said in a March TikTok video.

"To say that pre-K through third grade are not ready for such topics is actually internalized homophobia and transphobia," the teacher continued, further arguing: "They are very much ready for these topics, and are way more accepting than adults when it comes to discussing these topics. We can talk about gender, gender assumptions, pronouns; all the things. And, it is child-development-appropriate and age-appropriate."
