Canadian Pollster and founder of EKOS Research Frank Graves tweeted and deleted that he would make it his mission to ensure that Conservative Party leadership frontrunner Pierre Poilievre never becomes Prime Minister—all while his firm is being paid by the Trudeau Liberals.
"A real conservative option is a healthy counterbalance in a healthy democracy," wrote Graves in the March 15 tweet. "Pierre Poilievre is an acolyte of authoritarian populism. This is never healthy. You are on notice. Going to make sure you are never going to lead my country. I don't make idle threats," wrote the pollster who has already been accused of Liberal media favouritism.
In April 2010, the Conservative Party of Canada accused Graves of giving partisan advice to the Liberal Party of Canada, noting his donations to the party since 2003.
EKOS Research was also the recipient of $1.6 million in 2020 to 2021. EKOS Research was awarded $1,740,039.66 in contracts over $10,000 by the Liberals, government data shows.
Graves has been targeting Poilievre and his supporters on his Twitter recently, including a tweet where he said that the Tory frontrunner was too white, saying "I think I see a pattern here."
