WATCH: James Lindsay and Jack Posobiec analyze the left’s meltdown over the ‘G-word’

"Why is it that this word specifically has so much power against them and why are they so terrified of it?" Posobiec asked. "The simple answer is because it's true," Lindsay replied.

On a Sunday special episode of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec spoke with author, mathematician and cultural critic Dr. James Lindsay, focusing on his recent ban from from Twitter over his use of the phrase "Okay, Groomer."

"Why is it that this word specifically has so much power against them and why are they so terrified of it?" Posobiec asked. "The simple answer is because it's true," Lindsay replied.

The podcast interview was split into two parts. The first portion was pre-recorded a few weeks ago at the Turning Point Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida while Lindsay was on a temporary ban from Twitter. The two returned to record a second part after Twitter decided to permanently ban Lindsay.

Lindsay's temporary suspension from Twitter started on July 21. Media Matters journalist Ari Drennan had written a piece deriding Lindsay and others for their defense of children against indoctrination in radical gender ideology. Lindsay posted a reply on Twitter to Drennan simply saying, "Okay, Groomer" and was suspended on the charge of "hateful conduct."

On August 5, Lindsay was permanently banned for what Twitter says was promoting "violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease."

Posobiec asked Lindsay about "linguistic warfare" and how the left, who will seemingly change the definitions of words such as "racism," "white supremacy," and even "woman" overnight suddenly became very essentialist over the phrase "groomer."

"Why are they so afraid of it?" asked Posobiec.

"The simple answer is because it's true," Lindsay responded.

Lindsay said that the Left knows the term groomer has "negative pejorative connotation" connected to both pedophilia and cult grooming. Tagging adults who prey on children with trans pedagogy and radical gender theory with the word upsets the left because they know they're "not gonna be able to get it off of them. Because it's true... And the other thing it does," Lindsay continued, "is it wakes up parents."

"There is a reservoir of energy that we will say springs forth from natural law, right, and the love of a parent for their children," Lindsay said, connecting the fear the Left has over the phrase "Groomer" with the growing parental interest groups that have sprung up in the last two years.

Grooming is a mechanism where an adult will go about "introducing sexualized content" and "normalize sexual content" with a child and the they tie that effort back to Marxism and the deliberate attempt to destabilize the nuclear family.

In the second portion of the interview, Lindsay noted that after he returned from his temporary suspension he started using the term "child sexualization specialist" instead of groomer, but he was swiftly canceled again, this time permanently.
