This is not the first time Mulvaney and Kate Spade have worked together. The influencer has long been a vocal fan of the brand, and has produced numerous TikTok videos prancing around in their dresses and shoes.
In the most recent video, Mulvaney takes viewers through Kate Spade's Rockefeller Center location sporting a purple dress and matching pom-pom heels.
"It all started with the first day of spring," Mulvaney began, "I am at Kate Spade New York to find the perfect spring outfit!"
"Kate Spade New York is a staple in my wardrobe," Mulvaney said, gushing over a small white purse and hot pink dress. "You can always use another pair of heels, right?" Mulvaney added, prancing over to the changing rooms.
After donning all the aforementioned items, Mulvaney provided viewers with a "fit check," saying, "I love a puffy sleeve and I added some jewelry because more is always more."
"Happy Spring!" Mulvaney concluded, dashing out of the store as quick as the high heels would permit.
According to Footwear News, Mulvaney has previously promoted Kate Spade products via TikTok, attending presentations and collection drops since September 2022.
While the previous collaborations slipped under the radar of right-wing critics, the latest one was highlighted as problematic.
"Welp," Robby Starbuck lamented, "@katespadeny is the latest brand to tell conservative women they don't want their business by having Dylan Mulvaney promote their products. What are brands like Kate Spade thinking when they hire a man that will alienate half their client pool?"
His sentiments were echoed by numerous other notable online figures of the right, including Tom Fitton, who accused the brand of "embrac[ing] misoginy and transgender extremism."
While Mulvaney has long been criticized by the right, the left, all the way up to the president and vice president of the United States, have offered nothing but praise.
