WATCH: Mazie Hirono calls for violence against pro-life Americans

"That is how we see it. And why? Because that's what's happening. Madam President, I yield the floor but clearly, you know, this is, this is a literally a call to arms in our country."

Democratic Senator from Hawaii Mazie Hirono spoke on the Senate floor on Wednesday to declare that pro-life legislation was a "literal call to arms" for Americans who are pro-abortion.

"This is an outright attack on women in this country," Hirono said. "That is how I see it. That is how more and more women and those who support our right to make decisions about our own bodies. That is how we see it. And why? Because that's what's happening. Madam President, I yield the floor but clearly, you know, this is, this is a literally a call to arms in our country."

"Republicans are pandering, I think that's a really good word apt word, pandering to their extreme MAGA base and have now introduced a nationwide ban on abortion after 15 weeks," Hirono said, referencing a pro-life bill introduced by Lindsey Graham on Tuesday.

That bill does not even have wide support from conservatives, who are more aligned with the idea that abortion legilsation is a states' rights, as opposed to federal issue under the Constitution.

Dana Loesch wrote of Hirono's comments, "The left has said for years that this language is an absolute call to violence, thus @maziehirono and Democrats are calling for violent armed conflict against pro-life supporters."

"If Republicans take control of the Senate, we now know what they will do," Hirono said.

Hirono's stark language echoed President Biden's dark and disturbing remarks on September 1 where he categorized half the US population as "a threat to this country" and "extremists" who must be defeated.

During Biden's remarks from Independence Hall in Philadelphia, he cited "MAGA Republicans" multiple times as the enemy of the state and said that, because of their extremism, "equality and democracy are under assault."

"This is always been about Republicans using their power to control women and our bodily autonomy," Hirono said of the overturn of Roe v. Wade by "the extreme far right Supreme Court."

"Do you want to let extreme MAGA Republicans tell you what you can and can't do with your own body" Hirono said, "Or do you want to hold these politicians accountable for pushing their far-right extreme agenda and perpetuating the chaos, confusion and fear" that she believes will arise from pro-life efforts.

Biden too spoke of "chaos" earlier this month. "MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies," Biden said.

Biden called MAGA Republicans "semi-fascist" in late August, and while Democrats are calling for violence against their opposition, their constituents have been listening.

Across organized Antifa violence in cities, espeically at pro-life centers, earlier in the year the Left tried to assassinate Supreme Coury Justicve Brett Kavanaugh. Multiple swatting attempts have been made against Marjorie Taylor Green and Steve Bannon.
