On Thursday, woke social network Tribel announced that it was pre-emptively banning Donald Trump, his son, Elon Musk, and Kanye West from its platform.

The move comes as its creator Omar Rivero, who also runs Occupy Democrats, continues to foment fears over Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter.

Occupy Democrats broke the news Thursday morning, suggesting that Tribel had made the decision to ban Trump, his son, and Kanye West based on allegations of "spreading dangerous conspiracy theories and fake news."

Trump was banned after former President Obama advcoated for the ban in the wake of the Capitol riot on January 6. West for banned for anti-semitism.

Within the Occupy Democrats fanbase, the bans were celebrated, however outside the leftist echo chamber, many were quick to point out the hypocrisy of a site that bills itself as "pro-democracy" preemptively barring those they disagreed with politically from having accounts.

Tribel later confirmed that Musk was also banned.

The fledgling social media platform has come under fire for a now-deleted section in its Terms of Service dealing with user posts and information.

Tribel stated that in exchange for using the site, users agreed to "an unlimited, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid, transferable, assignable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, commercially exploit, repurpose, perform and display any and all Posted Information, including personal information, survey answers … and all other kinds of information you post to the Website."

When it was pointed out, Tribel replied that, "We really have no idea why our former lawyer put that in there, and we should have checked his work more carefully."

"We would never 'sell' any user posts – whatever that means! We're political activists!" they added.

The revised version simply says users "irrevocably waive … any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to your Posted Information."

Nonetheless, many have accused Tribel of bringing nothing more than a data-harvesting grift for Rivero and Occupy Democrats.

Since news of Musk's Twitter takeover broke, Occupy Democrats has been busy slandering the billionaire, accusing him of working to turn the social media platform into one filled with hate and disinformation.

Musk is a free speech absolutist.
